Using Pantone Colors to challenge the idea of race

The project development is based on a series of portraits whose background is dyed with the exact Pantone® tone extracted from a sample of 11×11 pixels of the portrayed person’s face.  The Angelica Dass says, “The project’s objective is to record and catalog all possible human skin tones.”  Out of this photographic work, Angelica will develop a global skin chart.  Humanae is a color chart without borders, challenging the very idea of race and nationality.
